Printing Enlargements
The pictures on the Printable Images CD are intended to be
printed at 4x6 or any other print size that has a 2 to 3 aspect ratio. You
also can print enlargements these pictures without any quality loss. However,
automatic cropping / size-adjustment done by the photo lab may result in
undesirable portions of the image being cut / cropped. To avoid this problem,
you can use the cropping option that is available at most digital photo printing
kiosks. These kiosks are available at stores like Walgreens, CVS, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart. JustHaveFun Photography can also provide lab-printed reprints and enlargements upon request (call or email us for prices).
To print 8x10, 5x7, or other sizes of enlargements
on a Fuji Aladdin kiosk (available at Wal-Mart and Walgreens), follow these
steps:
- You must choose CUSTOM ORDER or SELECT IMAGES when beginning your order
on the photo kiosk.
- Locate the picture you want to print and then select the
photo by touching it with your finger.
- Press the EDIT button in the ordering section.
- Choose the size of print, the quantity of the print, and
press DONE.
- When the photo appears, press the ZOOM and CROP option in the
upper right of the screen.
- Use the +/- zoom buttons and the up / down / left /
right arrows to position the location of the print as desired. This feature
will allow you to control which areas of the picture are cut / cropped when
the picture is printed and avoid situations where the kiosk software would
otherwise remove undesirable portions of the picture (such as cutting off the
top of someone’s head, removing a key part of the image while printing too
much background, etc.).
- When you have the cropping box positioned as desired
press DONE.
- Press DONE on the image editing screen to return to the
order selection screen and complete your order.
